What do I get with my membership?

You get four editions of the CTA newsletter "Scrapbook"; you are notified of
late breaking news about the band, like concerts and TV appearances; you get to
purchase tickets through the fan club; you get a membership packet with a
personalized laminate membership card and another exclusive gift; you are
invited to attend an annual convention and have a chance to meet the band, and
you get to make new friends who share similar music interests! For more reasons
go to CTA Membership.
Q:

Tickets Q&A's
Q:
Why should I purchase Fan Club tickets vs. going through Ticketmaster of the
venue box office?
A:
The choice in the end is yours. If you go through the Fan Club, you have the
opportunity to sit with other members and make new friends. We don't always have
the best seats (although the venues are usually good to us) but we have the best
time! If you feel you can get better seats on your own, you are free to make
that choice.
Q:
Where are the seats located for the Fan Club tickets?
A:
Management has arranged for us to have Fan Club seats set aside for most of the
shows. We have no control over where the venue puts us. We have been told we can
expect to be in the center section whenever possible and between rows 10-26. The
only venues we might have problems with are those with season ticket
holders/concert series. These venues have seats already sold or reserved and
have to work around them.
Q:
How are tickets shipped, and when can I expect them to arrive?
A:
Tickets are shipped via 2-day Federal Express and will require a signature. You
can expect your tickets 1-2 weeks before your show date. On rare occasions
tickets are received late from the venue and will be shipped out ASAP but will
arrive in time for your show. If there isn't enough time, the tickets will be
left at the Will Call window at the venue. If for any reason Will Call is
needed, we will contact you personally to let you know.
Q:
How many tickets am I allowed per venue as a fan club member?
A:
You are allowed 2 tickets per member per venue. However, if you want additional
tickets you can request them. After all orders have been filled and if there are
still tickets available, we will be able to honor your request for additional
tickets. Please make note, if you are ordering additional tickets, you are
required to send in a deposit for each ticket at the time the original order is
placed.
Q:
The deadline has passed, can I still order tickets?
A:
No, the deadline is there for a reason. Once tickets are ordered from the venue,
whatever seats the fan club does not use get immediately released to the general
public. After tickets have been released, we will not be able to obtain
additional seats at that time.
Q:
How will I be contacted regarding my balance due?
A:
If you submit an e-mail address, it is your responsibility to check your e-mail
often. If no e-mail address is given, an invoice will be mailed to you.
See the Contact Us page and write to Ronni.
Q:
Will my tickets be sent out if I still have a balance due?
A:
No, you need to be paid in full before tickets will be shipped to you.
Q:
What forms of payment do you accept for ticket orders?
A:
We accept money orders, cashiers checks and personal checks. Checks must be made
payable to: "Chicago True Advocates". If any check bounces you
will be charged a $25 bank fee and will be expected to pay in full via money
order or cashier's check ASAP or your order will be canceled.
Q:
What if I am unable to attend my show, or what if I change my mind. Will I get a
refund?
A: No, absolutely no refunds and no exceptions. In cases of
overpayment, you will receive a credit. If a show is cancelled, you will be
refunded. Once you have paid for your tickets they are your responsibility.

Q&A's
Q:
What is the song "25 or 6 to 4" about?
A:
The song is about the process of writing a song. The line "25 or 6 to 4" refers
to the time of the morning that this was happening. Robert was "sitting cross
legged on the floor", "waiting for the break of day", "searching for something
to say", and when he needed a line, he noticed that the time was 25 or 26
minutes to 4 in the morning. He had intended to substitute a "real" line, but
couldn't come up with anything better than that, so it stuck. Listen to it again
knowing now what it is about and it will make more sense to you.
